You will join a welcome call, sign into our learning platform, engage with peers in the program, and prepare to begin your journey.

During this module, you will discover your unique strengths, define your niche, and craft a compelling personal brand that sets you apart in the market. Through interactive exercises, you’ll learn how to position yourself effectively to attract the right clients.

You will dive into proven strategies for securing freelance work, from leveraging online platforms to networking effectively. You’ll gain insights into pitching, negotiating rates, and converting prospects into paying clients.

Freelancers must balance multiple projects while maintaining high-quality work. In this module, you will explore best practices for project management, time optimization, and meeting client expectations with professionalism.

FAQs

You must be 18 years of age or older and create an account on our Admissions Portal. You must have a skill to monetize, want to explore freelancing and commit 20 hours per week to the program.

In order to access the your chosen programme and ALX ecosystem, you will be required to pay the $5 All Access, giving you access to the following :

  • All ALX Programmes – You will be able to register for as many ALX programmes as you like concurrently, so long as all prerequisite requirements are met.
  • ALX hubs in the 8 markets
  • ALX Ventures events and workshops.
  • ALX Ventures Alumni community
  • ALX rewards and perks program

If you meet our eligibility requirements (18 years and older) and successfully register for an ALX programme of your choice, the cost of your programme will be sponsored and you will not be required to pay anything other than your monthly $5 All Access. This access fee helps support the cost of providing low-cost access to world-class programmes and maintaining the infrastructure and resources needed for the learning experience.

 

You will be able to access the program as long as your monthly All-Access fee payment is up-to-date.

 

 

Yes, the $5 fee applies.The first 2 or 6 weeks focus on structured, high-impact learning with expert instruction. After that, you’ll work on key deliverables through self-paced learning with access to office hours and support to help you meet the deliverable deadlines.

ALX Ventures will stay in touch with graduates and will evaluate potential investments based on a comprehensive set of criteria that reflect the startup’s current performance, growth potential, market opportunity, team capability, and alignment with ALX Ventures’ strategic interests.
